Once you’ve noted your answers to all of these questions, as well as anything else that pops up during the process, review your answers on a regular basis and make any changes or additions as you see fit. Your ideal life vision will always be a work in progress, so I recommend adding a recurring block of time on your calendar specifically to review your personal vision and your personal mission statement, to make sure that you’re staying on-track and to capture any necessary changes as your life evolves.

You must continually stay in touch with your concept of “the ultimate you” in order to make sure that you’re moving in the right direction. As with any relationship where you don’t see or talk to someone for an extended period of time, you can grow apart and eventually lose touch completely, never to see or hear from them again. You don’t want that to happen to the ultimate you. This is a relationship you need to nurture and develop. Do not let it languish.
